Dell Inspiron Mini 9 with 3G

Dell announced to add 3G option to their Inspiron Mini 9 Netbook. The computer giant offer the option available for buyer from the U.S which is built-in broadband modem from the telecommunication company AT&T. The mini laptop supports download speed up to 7.2 megabit per second (Mbps) while upload speed is 2 megabit per second. Additional $125 if consumer want the wireless wide area network. However AT&T offers a $120 mail-in-rebate for DataConnect Service plan subscribers. An Ericsson-designed HSPA internal minicard provides the wireless support. The ultraportable system has built-in WiFi support.

The Mini 9 has 9 inches screen, using Intel Atom 1.6 GHz Processor weight only 2.28 pounds and memory up to 1GB. There are options for 4GB, 8GB and 16GB solid-state drive. Online storage of 2GB from Box.net is included for free. There are a few colors to choose from with elegant artistic designs. This mini laptop is ideal for anyone who prefer an easy-to-use low-cost ultraportable device for Internet surfing and activities on the road.


Prices from $399 for Windows XP based netbook and $349 for Ubuntu Linix based. The European can purchase directly from Dell or Vodafone.
