MSI Wind
MSI Wind is currently one of the best netbook on the market. Our blog give MSI Wind 8.8 out of 10. What we like about this baby is it has a good display and at the price of $288.13 to $383.99 it is one of the most affordable mini notebook in the market. Comes with variety of colors, the screen measured at 10.1 inches complete with built in 1.3 megapixel webcam and mic.
Another positive thing about MSI Wind is the keyboard is large and confortable enough for a netbook. Display is bright and impressive (1024x600 megapixel). There is a D-sub port on the right side to do connection to projector or any large display. Equipped with 80GB of storage is enough to store about 400 movies or 20000 MP3s. Even though so, it is not a solid-state drive meaning that it is more prone to data loss due to fall. So clumsy guy should beware about his.
The contras are the mouse track pad is very small, only 51mm square. The CTRL key is not at the bottom of the keyboard, so it is quite annoying for anyone who used to CTRL shortcuts. MSI Wind also not equipped with 3G or Wimax capability. But you still can surf the web at home, at hotspot or using 3rd party USB dongle. This baby is not suitable for hardcore gamers as the graphic is too lame for gaming. But it is still good for viewing high definition movies, simple games and web sites.
This small notebook speed is satisfying for a netbook. It is powered by Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 processor and RAM of 1GB RAM DDR2 667MHz.The RAM memory is upgradable to 2GB. There are 1 SD slot, 3 USB ports, mic and headphone ports. The Wind has internal fan which is quite.
